Definitely more of a fun restaurant then a lounge at the moment since they just opened their doors. We were shocked at the food prices but the portions are large and the food tasted sooo good. Very well worth the try and experience. They have a bar to sit at as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive
Food was pretty good! I had the chicken chow mein and my husband had the fried rice. We had the banga Mary for appetizer. I got a watermelon mojito and it’s pricey at $18 (whew) but it was refreshing. The portions are pretty big. Something was wrong with the AC but as soon as I asked they brought over a fan and the owner came right over. He was super nice and even bought us a round of drinks. To me, that’s a true mark of a great customer experience. We love that a Caribbean spot opened by us so we’ll definitely be back to try more items.
Nice Relaxed Atmosphere. Great staff. Food is On Point. Finally an affordable & enjoyable West Indian cuisine in Baldwin with delicious drinks 🍹
Hands down, the food and drinks were exceptional.We have been on the lookout for a good Guyanese Chinese restaurant on the island for some time now, and I can honestly say that our search is over. We enjoyed the shark appetizer, pepper shrimp fried rice, jerk chicken chow-mein, and the best watermelon mojito in town. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly, and bursting with flavor. Moreover, the staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu.
I highly recommend giving Palm Island a try. It truly is a gem that should not be missed.
