“Although I usually try to steer clear of fast food, I couldn’t resist grabbing lunch at Popeyes while working in Baldwin today.
Steven and Arley were fantastic hosts, providing friendly service. However, they did make a small mistake with my order.
I requested a 3-piece meal with beans and rice, no drink, specifically asking for 1 wing, 1 leg, and 1 thigh.
Unfortunately, they gave me a chicken breast instead of the thigh, and I only discovered it when I returned to the office.
I don’t eat chicken breast, so I had to find someone to give it to, which was a bit inconvenient.
Additionally, the price of $16.83 for a 3-piece meal felt quite steep. Despite these hiccups, I did enjoy the meal itself.

I ordered the New Spicy Truff Chicken Sandwich meal and the 6 pieces spicy wing. Instead, I got 6 pieces sweet n’ spicy wings. Neitherless, the wing was fine, and the sandwich was good.
This place is the twilight zone of Popeyes. Bizaro world. The drive thru was incomprehensible. Can’t even explain. I think there is a gas leak in that restaurant because they employees seem spacey, I mean.. I’m still here in line with no food as I write this. Am I flabbergasted. The lady just asked. Are we done? .. lady… where is my food. She has not handed me my food yet. I have been sittimg at the window. Already paid. Now I have to check to make sure the food is all.in the bag when I get it. Drove away and guess what?
They forgot baes drink. She is upset. Now she had to go back inside the store.
The audacity that she says, are we done…. ?
What. Yeah we are done. Never coming back again! We watched the drive thru as we ate. Other people were having g problems. One guy drove back around again. All I heard was that the wings were spicey when they were supposed to be BBQ. Is this place some type of joke?
Been here multiple times & the service has yet to change. It’s ridiculously slow EVERY TIME & the workers do not comprehend English. I did a survey & received a coupon for a free 2 piece & a biscuit with the purchase of a large drink. It took 3 employees & then the manager to come over before someone was able to understand the coupon. Why is there nobody in there who can comprehend ?? I heard there was strawberry sweet tea so i asked for that as my drink . I did not receive that , instead i received strawberry fanta mixed with sweet tea. How do you mix that up ??!? Staff needs to be retrained & someone who comprehends English needs to be on drive thru .
Food is great. Service is fast!!… if you’re not in the drivethru. They make the people that come in top priority, so the mobile order I made, I wound up picking up in-store since the drivethru was taking forever.
