We visited Viva Tulum as a newer restaurant in the area. We were greeted and served by Lorenzo. He was better than phenomenal. He topped off our drinks, made us laugh and ensured we were so satisfied with our entrees that I had to post this. It’s so good to have this restaurant here in Baldwin. Cannot wait to come back, thanks Lorenzo!!!
First and foremost – The service here is excellent. Larry, our server was so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was really relaxing and cozy, and most importantly it was clean and welcoming. We got salsa and chips on the house (this was so good and very nice of them) The food was incredible, everything was well seasoned, my family and myself ordered the birria tacos, chicken chimichangas with guacamole and tacos Al pastor. Everything was made fresh, hot and tasted really good. The drinks were also pretty good, I ordered the passion fruit margarita and got a mango margarita on the house – the passion fruit was good. The passion fruit juice on its own was excellent though (maybe i don’t like the taste of passion fruit as a margarita) The mango one was my favorite though. They were made well and not too strong but you definitely tasted the alcohol(I liked that). We also got a huge serving of tres leches. It was perfectly sweet and milky. I really have only good things to say about this place 🙂
Lastly I have to say that the bathroom was super clean! We will definitely be coming back soon
Food was excellent and freshly made. The place was very clean and really cute inside. The rice and beans were the best I’ve had, the guacamole was also great. I love all the details they thought of, from the decor to the red, “white” and green corn chips. Would go back for sure.
I ate here with my sisters and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The food was mouth watering and full of flavor. We ordered birria tacos, tacos al pastor and chicken chimichangas. I had the tacos Al pastor everything was well seasoned and balanced. We also had four drinks, passion fruit magarita, mango margarita, horchata, and passion fruit juice. All the juices and drinks are made in house and really tasty. The service by Larry was phenomenal and led to a great dining experience. Will definitely recommend and visit again.
Ordered this food via DoorDash & had mixed reviews.
The Chicken Quesadilla was good but the reason for the low score is the shrimp tacos.
The shrimp was not properly deveined or cleaned, The onions nor lettuce were huge & not cut properly, no tomatoes or peppers or any kinda of sauce or cheeses & finally the cucumbers & radishes included in the order were questionable.
