Tried this place on a whim as I drove by and it caught my eye, and I wasn’t disappointed. The service is quick, food was amazing, staff was friendly. It’s a bit on the smaller side and gets packed so be ready for a wait or go early. The pancakes were absolutely delightful, and the home-fries were excellent, to my surprise they have sweet potato home fries something I’ve never tried anywhere. The menu has some very interesting options, but if I’m at a pancake place I’m there for just that pancakes.
This place is amazing. It literally begins when you walk in. The host is extremely friendly,positive and polite. Then the waitress is their and also great. Food comes out fast and it was busy. You must try the pancakes. Mine were recommended by my waitress. Asked me if I like sweet and I do it so I had banana and butterscotch chips. Not for everyone but I liked it. Bacon perfect. It looked like everything that came out of that kitchen slaps. Met the owner and his wife. Awesome people. I’m coming back. If you go, go hungry.
Pancakes Place has been my favorite for years. I love all of the options that you can mix fresh into the batter for the pancakes, as well as options for the batter itself. My new fave is whole wheat pancakes with butterscotch chips, blueberries and walnuts with sunny side up on the side. Also great flavored coffee options. Friendly atmosphere too. THE BEST!
Food is great, service was excellent, place is too small tho, felt a little crammed in on top of each other When it’s busy. Would still highly recommend for a giant delicious breakfast! Get pancakes with your order for sure!!
We were in town for a wedding and found this place on google and were so glad we took the chance. I got a bacon cheddar omlette and everything was so good, the buttered toast, the home fries and the omlette were all superb. My husband and I split an order of banana chocolate chip pancakes that were to die for. A+ would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.
