I have come here several times for lunch and just experienced their brunch. Everything is always spot on and delicious! The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is sophisticated casual inside and a beautiful golf course view outside with plenty of seating. I would highly recommend as a date night out or a spot for brunch with friends.
My friend and I went to Persimmons yesterday at 530pm we were seated right away with no reservation. We chose to sit on the outdoor patio with a view of the golf course. We ordered shrimp and crab egg rolls which were delicious! We did have to ask for napkins, silverware, and a drink menu. I ordered the “Chooch” for a drink, light and citrusy served as a mule. We shared short rib tacos that were good but on the bland side. The wedge salad was an entire head of lettuce cut in half with dressing and other veggies on top. I have never seen a wedge salad presented this way but it was hilarious and tasty! It did need more dressing considering the amount of lettuce. The burger was cheese, bacon, bbq sauce, and caramelized onions- burger of the week. The few bites of burger I tried were tasty I would go with medium rare next time. Fries were hot, fresh, and seasoned well. I will be going back to try other menu items and the cozy indoor seating. As far as price our meal with one specialty drink and one soda was $78. I thought that was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. The entrees are higher priced.
This is my second visit with a friend and unfortunately this time the food just wasn’t on point. The ambiance is lovely, though if you sit in a booth they are so high you are secluded from surroundings. My Pear Cosmo was an interesting twist I did enjoy that, I would have had a second if not driving! The Lobster Shrimp Egg rolls are delicious and the Wedge salad is plentiful, with yummy blue cheese! The Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry my friend ordered was inedible. It looks like a meal you would order from Fresh Pet and did not taste any better! Does not even resemble stir fry more of a puréed dish. The waitress did mention they have had numerous complaints on this entree and it was removed from the check. The mini short rib tacos have had a make over in toppings since our last visit. It was a bit of an overkill on the salsa and the short rib was greasy and fatty making it difficult to consume, I did like the Avocado Sour Cream. I only had one of the three mini tacos the others remain in my fridge unlikely to be ingested, I preferred the previous toppings. Service was attentive for the first half of our meal it was much slower towards the end with a bit of a wait for check and to go box and bag. Not a big deal considering my friend and I had plenty of catching up! I left the 4 Stars for ambiance and service. The food was more of a 3 this visit unfortunately.
Server was friendly and attentive. Music (ESP) was wonderful and absolutely love the atmosphere. Food was good and portions were generous. Bread was served warm. I do wish a salad or side came with the meal for the price of entrees. We will be back. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can sit outside.
What a delightful place! There’s plenty of room yet it maintains a cozy atmosphere. The food was fantastic, and the wait staff were perfectly attentive. We’ll definitely return to explore the rest of the menu.

Food
I got the Braised Short Rib Benedict. Although it was good, I think it fell a little below my expectations. Maybe I had too high of an expectation due to the many positive reviews. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying it was bad—it was good, but I think it was a little overpriced.
Vibe
I personally think the vibe is the best part of this place. They have a lot of seating, including outdoor seats. Considering the environment, I think it is worth the price.
Overall, I enjoyed it and am willing to come back and try other items on the menu with my family.
