    My girlfriend and I ordered a breakfast sandwich with home fries and a side of hot sauce. The staff taking the order on the phone, when picking up in person, and when I had questions about the bill, were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was overall good and a quality product.
    The problem is that it cost $21.99 for a half breakfast sandwich and few home fries with a side of hot sauce. We switched from a waffle to sourdough bread for a $2 upcharge (for a single slice of bread) that we were not informed about. The menu prices both online and in person are apparently inaccurate. They even charge for the to-go containers which I find to be completely abnormal in the food service industry and we were also not informed about.
    I am happy to pay premium price for a premium product but this just seem to be over the top for me.

    Best waffles in the Capital District! Best gluten free waffles in the state! Everything is a la carte but the ambiance and friendliness of the staff make up for the price of your meal.

    It’s always a good time at the Iron Roost. Quality food and drinks. Absolutely love their waffle sandwiches. My friend had their Buddha bowl which was super hardy and delicious. Pictured is their chocolate hazelnut croissant and cappuccino. 🤌🏼🤌🏼

    The food and coffee was delicious. We got there early so we didn’t have to wait, but for that food, I would have waited in line all day if necessary

    Not a bad place by New York standards. Very tasty coffee, Benedict couldn’t taste it because it’s on a special menu. And I think the prices are very high. completed by 30%. But the latte coffee is very tasty
