Was feeling a little hungry for Italian this week, and seeing as how Publik House is on the corner of my trip home, I figured I’d give it a shot.
Ordering was easy, placing my order over the phone a few hours prior to pickup. When I got there the meal was neatly bagged up and ready to go, and the entire bill was pretty reasonable for an Eggplant Parmesan with the Ziti and the Onion Ring Basket.
Upon reaching home and opening up the bag I found the heft came from the Eggplant Parmesan which had a thick layer of melted mozzarella on top of it. Not overdone mind you, just a hefty amount. Now I was worried this would leave the eggplant rather soggy, but it was done well enough that it was moist but not drenched in cheese oils. And the Ziti was cooked properly and not overdone with the light sauce covering, the Onion Ring Basket however left me somewhat disappointed. It was more like an Onion Ring Handful, lacked any kind of flavor, and the only positive was the texture was excellent. Wish they had added some kind of dipping sauce to add some flavor, and also had a dozen more rings to make an actual basket.
Overall the price was nice, the meal was prepared properly, the eggplant was delicious, the rings were a disappointment, but I might return to try one of their other dishes with some garlic bread.
While my previous review was good I’m now changing and won’t be returning. This is the second time in a row ( but not the only 2 times we’ve had issues. $67 for this. We ordered

I’ve overlooked mistakes because things happen but this was second time in a row and really disappointed for the price. Had the wings at least been what I ordered I would have overlooked pizza but the celery really hit a nerve

Staff is nice, the place is nice if you like that split bar and dining room style.
The food ain’t great. Pretzel are frozen generic sticks you can get down the road at price chopper, and their cheese sauce is the blandest nacho cheese I’ve ever had.
I’m not usually a fan of thin crust but some people are, that’s fine, but when you ask if the chef can do a double crust to try and do thick crust and they say they think they can do it, well the picture speaks for itself… The red sauce ain’t that much better either.
Ordered takeout we had the cheeseburger paradise pizza thin crust was good loaded with toppings and Jeremy’s way pizza was good too not bad very loaded.
Wings are not good at all very dry looks like deep fried couple times not enough sauce had the garlic parm and honey hot.
Service is nice very decent ladies helping you on the phone and give the order out.
We walked in, ordered a pizza to go and paid for it. They told us 15-20 mins. I told them we were waiting outside for it and I went back inside about 15min later.
She told me that he would probably buzz her when the pizza was ready. I grabbed a paper and stood there reading for about 5 more minutes. Then I went back out to the car. After 30min was up, I went back in and was ignored for another 5min. The host came out of the kitchen and said “it’s gonna be a bit longer” They never made the pizza. So I asked for a refund. She took my card and came back with a return receipt. I was shocked they let me stand there waiting for almost 40min and for nothing and let me leave without my cheese pizza!!!
