We ate lunch there Monday and the food and service were great! I ordered a turkey sandwich and instead of the usual rubbery turkey you get on sandwiches these days it was the real thing! My husband had a fried haddock sandwich and it was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to eat and we will go back!

The food was good, but the place was crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Our order was a little slow due to the amount of people. My breakfast in the picture was really good and filling, the pancakes as you can see cover the plate and there were lots of blueberries. Overall a good meal.

Great food, excellent service, large portions, fair prices, clean & featuring so many delicious homemade dishes. (Their soups & pies are to die for.)My only complaint is trying to figure out what to order b/c everything is so good & that they aren’t open a little later. Also, I’m pretty sure they infuse their food w/the tears of a unicorn, b/c it’s unbelievably tasty. Definitely visit w/an empty belly b/c it’ll be more than full when you leave!

The prices were excellent, the service prompt, friendly, and unobtrusive, and the food was good. The decor was a little on the, but it wasn’t cluttered or trying to be too cute. Definitely a plus in my book to not have the decorations distracting you when you’re trying to eat.

Unfortunately, the baked potato had been held far too long and I had to drown it in sour cream to make it edible. And I do mean drown. Also, I was never offered a refill on my drink, and that’s a big no-no for me. On the other hand, they were training a new staff member and it was nearly closing time.

Ultimately, 4 stars, but I plan on visiting again.

Small family restaurant with about 20 tables. Food is good servers friendly. Patrons all seemed to know each other As most every one that came in was greeted with hugs as they went table to table. Be warned that a serving of fries could probably feed at least 3 people! The chocolate creme pie is pretty good. When I told our waitress I would share my husband’s she cut the slice extra big! Definitely would recommend this place if you find yourself in this area!
