We had a very nice breakfast. The food was filling the service was perfect even the cook asked how our meals were. Very small restuarant with a great hometown feel.
Our veteran server brought us some apple pie fritters as soon as we sat down. They looked and tasted like hush puppies to me, whatever the name, they were fantastic. We ordered and had a second dish of spiced apples for all 3 of us. They were also very good. My boyfriends sausage gravy and biscuits was $12 & I got something with the name ‘pig’ in it. It was fantastic, it was supposed to be sausage gravy, a biscuits, red potatoes, peppers & onions, bacon, sausage and hash. I asked to hold the hash because I don’t really care for it. It was delicious. We ordered our son a brioche maple banana French toast that came with bacon or sausage, he loved it.
Very good home cooked food. Friendly staff. Delicious baked goods. Home made soups. Multiple flavor syrups. Clean and updated very cute place. We were very impressed.
