My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time today. We were beyond impressed! The restaurant is very clean, bathrooms are very clean, and restaurant is tastefully decorated in a cozy comfortable seafood environment. Our waitress Melanie was terrific! We joked about the sign posted near our table, “Beware of the Attack Waitress”. Melanie was authentically friendly, kind, and very professionally attentive to serving us. We loved our food and went home with leftovers! Haddock, Scallops, and Baked Potatoes were cooked perfectly! We each got an order of broccoli and shared some tuna macaroni salad. We will be repeat customers for sure! This meal and quality service made our day!!! You will not be disappointed and we can clearly see why this restaurant has been in business over 30 years! THANK YOU!
This place is so good! They go to Maine twice a week to get the seafood fresh. The amount of seafood in each dish is surprising. It’s definitely worth the price. It’s reasonable as well. It is bring your own beer too.
We stopped at Mainely Lobster for Dinner while in Plattsburgh for appointments. Their atmosphere there is very warm & inviting. I had the seafood marinara, which had shrimp and scallops in it. My husband had fried haddock & oysters. They were both delicious. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our table.
The service was excellent, the portion sizes are definitely above average, the food quality was premium, and it’s a comfortable little place that’s very casual. I highly recommend!

Carried out King Crab. Funny thing > I don’t own a seafood cracking tool. Well, it WASN’T funny when I knew I needed one..
I thought the Crab would be clumps already removed from the legs (they call that Lazyman’s crab) > it’s written on the menu !! Lol
Guess I’m a Lazy lady, Ha !
I used cuticle scissors and enjoyed my King Crab. Where there’s a Will, there’s DEFINITELY a Way !!
I’m ready to go back & try the Pot Roast & the Shrimp Scampi Linguini. Mmmmmm…..
