I’d like to start by saying that I travel and look for the best eats. I have to say that my experience with this restaurant is not good. The food tasted absolutely disgusting.. The sesame chicken was mush and had the flavor of old oil. The sesame sauce was masked by the oil taste. The vegetable lo mein was the worst I have ever had.. The noodles were white and had no flavor.. It tasted like plain boiled spaghetti with vegetables. The egg roll was average, also had an old oil taste. On a scale of 1 to 10, this place is a 0. Don’t waste your money here. You can make your own with a Google recipe that would beat anything I tasted on this $80.00 purchase. First and last visit.
The General TSOs Chicken Pizza is my sister’s favorite pizza. I did like the chicken and broccoli special. Everything was hot and flavorful. I would have given this place 5 stars, but the rice is a little pricey for what you get.
First of all, this place is freezing, it is not insulated and there is no towel by the door to keep the draft down at least. Secondly, the ribs were so chewy I couldn’t eat it, I would choke trying to swallow it. It definitely does not taste like ribs nor does it have the look or texture of real ribs. What a waste of my money, I am so dissatisfied now I have to skip a meal to be able to afford what I lost. A meal should not be a gamble and if it is here, it tastes like it would be a loss every time. Lastly, the cashier barely communicates and provides no silverware at all nor did they give me the drink behind the counter of which has to be asked for to be received. What a waste of time and money…
UPDATE 1:
The cashier’s customer service was acceptable because they were willing to give a refund for the bad food. However, their chef had an attitude and their cashier tried to say that they never have bad food and that they sell a lot of it. I was with someone that goes there all the time and they said it was not the same. It was very poorly cooked. My friend’s food had a bad aftertaste… My egg roll is the only thing that I enjoyed even though it was overcooked, it was still delicious.
UPDATE 2:
My friend says their food is always delicious and today was just not that day. They must have been having a bad day. want to head to my feedback on the ribs, I understand Chinese ribs are not the same as American ribs but the ones I ordered were very chewy rubbery and overall bland. The chef tried to cook them differently, according to the cashier what they trying to bring out the food and say it was re-cooked, but it was clearly the same food that they had served before, it appeared they just put it back in the pan for a few minutes and just put more sauce on it. They asked us if we wanted to take it with us and, we turned it down. With the poor attitude from the employees. unfortunately, I will never go back and I hate to do that to a local business.
OUTSTANDING Chinese cuisine!! I’ve been eating at BEST CHINESE FOOD Restaurant for over 20 years now!! The owners are very friendly, and they cook and serve fresh authentic Chinese food daily…as they are from China, and they know what authentic Chinese cuisine tastes like!! I love their chicken with garlic sauce, General Tso’s chicken, Beef and Broccoli, as well as countless other dishes they freshly prepare!! I eat there twice a week usually!! Great people! Great food! Great restaurant!!
Burbon chicken wasn’t even close. Never had creamy bourbon chicken. And the spare ribs tasted like they reheated the meat in the microwave.. shop elsewhere! If you love “red dye 40 spare ribs…this is the spot! Dude, thank God for Circle K pizza in Williamstown, that place made your pizza taste like 🔥.
