Here the night before the big eclipse. This place is a madhouse, but a very organized madhouse. Good food and service. The Dr. Pepper sauce is wonderful. One slip up with my son’s meal and one sweaty face and an extra drink later, we were all good. Good wings for a chain. Sports at atmosphere. Family friendly. Games in the waiting area in the mall.
I arrived at duffs and entered through the mall entrance, passed by the trophy case and was told to wait 25 minutes for a table.
There was many games for you to play while waiting. After 35 minutes I was seated at a booth. I ordered a Mountain Dew and it arrived pretty quickly, it was a pretty good soda. I then ordered 10 boneless wings with medium sauce on them and a medium hot flavored sauce on the side. After 25 minutes my food arrived, I tried the fries, it was good but crunchy. I then ate my wings, they were good but way too spicy. I then tried the Medium hot on plain wings, not as hot as the last one which made me think they put the wrong sauce on the wings and when I asked they would not swap them. I also tried the barbecue Dr pepper wings, they were the best wing I had, I highly recommend. The atmosphere is like a sports bar. I recommend this place but not at prime dinner time!
Prior to a trip to Buffalo, this place was all over social media and their wings looked delicious. It was on our list to try and big was it a huge let down. The wings were nothing like they are advertised online.
We ordered crispy, mild. On their social media postings, they advised their mild sauce is more like medium and medium is like hot. Since hot wings aren’t our thing, we opted for mild.
The wings were large and crispy. There was barely any sauce on them. The very little sauce was at the bottom of the container and was more oil than buffalo sauce.
The blue cheese was good, one of the best we tried. But man were these wings disappointing!
This was a wonderful find in Buffalo! Their wings are top notch, flavorful, and pipin’ hot. The wings, bone-in or boneless, both are just great. The flavors we got were smoked Dr. Pepper Char-BQ, spicy garlic parmesan, and sweet Cajun – all wonderful, but sweet Cajun takes trophy! The atmosphere can be noisy but the service is fast and friendly. Would definitely be coming back to this place if I’m ever in the area.
My son and I stopped in for chicken wings. Our waitress was great. She was friendly and attentive. Our chicken wings were very good. We ordered the medium light. (Still quite hot after the first few bites of a couple wings). Next time, I’ll try the mild medium. We asked for our wings extra crisp and that they were. The restaurant is 3x the size of their original location on Sheridan Dr.
