Forget the bad reviews! This is the Best kept secret food spot in the Crossgates mall! Seafood was perfectly cooked, great portions for the cost, and delicious. Atmosphere was quiet and casual with people just enjoying their food, their company and the music. If you love ethnic Cajun food… You have to come here! Juicy Cajun and Garlic Butter sauce was delicious! Fried chicken Po Boy was also delicious as were the cajun seasoned fries. Don’t miss this food!!
Shoutout to Manager Ms. Juanita, our waiters Malika and Chris for an incredible time at their restaurant. They we very warm, friendly, approachable, and respectful of us being customers and catering to our needs. The food, oh man, the food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, flavorful, and great portions. I don’t even know how else to describe the food other than just amazing. You have to experience the food and place yourself so go check it out. The ambiance is amazing. Looks like the inside of a pirate ship with Captian Jack Sparrow at the helm π«Άπ and the bathroom was very clean and decent, which is a big plus. Truly l enjoyed our time there, and like Arnold says, I’ll BE BACK π€£ππ
I love calamari but not everybody knows how to make it. The calamari was so good. It was fried just right and not rubbery at all. Super tender and the flavor was great. I tried the fries with crab meat with the aloha sauce on top. I would actually order it again. The waitress was nice and understood that I just wanted to have a light lunch. Even though they offer seafood boils which I will come back to try I just wasn’t in the mood for that. I think it’s great when a server doesn’t push you to order more if you don’t want to. The atmosphere is more of a hangout spot and they do have a bar. Even though I didn’t sit at the bar I did over hear the bartender engaging with those that was at the bar. Will be back for drinks and to try more seafood options!
Not a bad place. The atmosphere was cool. We got the boil bag with lobster tails, shrimp, and crawfish. Everything was pre sliced, easy to open and flavorful. Just gotta say the Calamari is out of this world.
I took my mother in-law for lunch on her suggestion. This place is AWESOME!!! The staff were friendly and polite, well mannered young people. The uniformed look was well put together. When I worked in food service, we had to wear their uniforms. Here they are allowed to be comfortable while still looking professional. The food came quickly and was delicious. The portions are excellent for the price. And the atmosphere… it’s a family friendly place. But it’s also a place for grown people to go and socialize. The music when I was there was easy R&B. I promise you, you will say, ” hey! That’s my song!”. My family and I will ABSOLUTELY be back!
