We found this spot on Google and so happened friends recommended their beef chow fun, so we came to check it out. The beef chow fun is good, has strong “wok-hay”! But the dim sums were mid. The shrimp dumpling (har-gow) was not good… the skin was mushy. The chicken feet was bad… way too much pepper and not what we expected. Their HK milk tea was solid! So go for the HK Milktea and Ice Lemon Tea for sure. The service was good without being over bearing; which is awesome. If you’re around Albany, for sure give it a try!
We come on Christmas Day like we do almost every year and, as always, the dim sum was delicious. I didn’t even manage to get pictures of everything because we were too interested in eating it as soon as it arrived. Their dim sum kitchen was a little backed up so there was a little wait for our reservation and for our food, but we weren’t in a rush and still enjoyed everything, day no complaints. The waitstaff are all very friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make our experience great.
Hong Kong Bakery & Bistro is a gem! The staff were so friendly and helpful, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and had a relaxing vibe, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. Speaking of the food – it was terrific! Authentic flavors, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous. I left feeling satisfied and happy. If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food and excellent customer service, this is the place to go!
I have dined here several times and really enjoy it. They have a great Dim Sum menu to start, and I’ve tried almost every item. They have a large regular menu and a great selection of bakery items to take home or eat there. I’ll continue adding more photos in future visits. The food is so yummy I forget to take pics because I’m too busy eating.
Really good dim sum and the waiter was entertaining and kind! Definitely one of my favorite places for food with friends the atmosphere is so cozy
