I originally went here due to the high reviews. I’m not one to write reviews but this place was awful. When I walked in I immediately noticed a condescending attitude when ordering. I ordered a chicken rice platter and it was easily one of the most poorly made halal platters I’ve ever had. The rice had no seasoning, the chicken was black and pretty much fully burnt and the white sauce tasted like spoiled greek yogurt. Save yourself the money and order elsewhere. Just look at the way the owner replies to these one star reviews. He has no shame and doesn’t even apologize for these “Platters”.
Relaxing atmosphere, incredibly clean, reasonably priced and delicious halal food! My son has autism so he was a bit dysregulated when we came in, but the very pleasant lady took care to give us fries on the house. A simple gesture, but one that makes all the difference. I’ve been very cynical lately, but every once in a while I get that reminder from the universe that kindness can come from the most unexpected places.
Food itself was quite good. Ordered combo salad platter. 12.45$ with tax.
Pros: over all, well made. the salad consisted of chopped lettuce, tomatos, olives and cucumbers. It was Fresh and crisp. Better than usual shredded lettuce with jus few slices of tomatoes you typically see. Meats were good too.
Cons: portion is smaller than other places. They are using a small round tin. Most other places use a bigger tin. Also the amount of meat was about half or less of other places. It’s hard to see with the sauce on top of it, but there’s only very little meat around the corner.
In summary, I appreciate the quality, but there really was not enough food for me. Especially the amount of meat provided left me wanting. See the attached picture to make your own decision.
We ordered double cheeseburgers, chicken burger, buffalo wings, and fries. Cheeseburger patties were extremely hard to bite into and tasteless. Wings were also very hard to chew. Chicken burger was relatively soft but had no seasoning at all. Fries were okay. You guys have potential, but you have to improve the food a lot.
Great food! But really bad with their hours. They close whenever they feel like it and don’t adjust hours so you can order food online and not know they are closed. Call before you order online always. They say 10 minutes every time but it is always longer than that depending what you order.
