Family friendly ❤️ Fresh food and great service from the waiters. This place gives that old school feel of diner nostalgia but very welcoming and comfortable… I’d say Neptune reputation speaks thru its staff and amazing food you can’t go wrong with this legendary location in Astoria queens.
I’ve only come here to use their restroom whenever I’m in the area. The host is always kind and lets me use it without having to be a customer. I finally decided to order dinner and pickup a Deluxe medium well cheeseburger meal. Sadly my burger meat tasted bland and the fries were so soggy. I was also let down that they only had American cheese and only steak fries. When I went to pay for my meal the person at the cashier didn’t even greet me or say anything to me whatsoever when leaving. Definitely wouldn’t come back here to eat.
Went to the diner for mothers day lunch and could not have made a better choice! The food and service were spot on and tasteful! Portions were satisfying, price was well worth it.
Been coming here forever. Just off the train. We were coming back from summer stage central park and were craving two cheeseburger deluxes. Was really filling. A bit rushed on the service but it is what it is.
Update. Fries were excellent. Next day just as good.
Been coming to this diner for years but haven’t been here in a while. Always wanted to come here with a man I love. Although it was late at night, past 11PM, I thought they were open 24 hours? I liked that there were still some people dining there so late.
Now the food was delicious. The waitress was very rushy. It was like she was trying to finish our sentences but if we didn’t say what we specifically wanted, she would have ran with whatever she thought we wanted. … it’s fine, won’t hold it against her. Would still come back here. They’re a great diner choice.
