So glad to find this place after a beautiful bike ride in the surrounding area. What a great find! Very cute inside, super nice server, and the BLT and burger we had for lunch really hit the spot. Plus, they have an in house baker and we bought 3 donuts and a giant cookie for the road. We will definitely be back!
Stopped into jumbos on a snowy morning. The dining room was busy, but we were seated immediately. Waitress very attentive. The coffee was hot and delicious – my mug was refilled throughout breakfast. While the menu isn’t very large, the food we did have was delicious. Classic American diner – would recommend!!
We have been passing this diner since it opened on the drive from Fort Drum to Potsdam, but we never had enough time to stop. Today, we did, and wow, it was such a treat! The aesthetic is amazing, and the food was truly a delight. My husband and I got buffalo chicken wraps, my toddler got a grilled cheese that had me envious 🤣, and the 6 year old had chicken tenders and fries. The food was all delicious, the staff was outstanding, and we can not wait to stop in again to try the fried green beans!
The waitress was pleasant and the place is clean. The food was really not good. The whole breakfast was flavorless. The home fries were grey, likely from sitting out pre-cut. The bacon was chewy and cold – again, pre-made and sitting out. The pancakes were bitter and spongy to the point that they were difficult to cut. Likely from too much baking powder. No seasoning on the potatoes or eggs. Not much flavor in pancakes either. Too bad, I was looking for a nice breakfast place in the area.
Looked nice inside but service was slow and it wasn’t busy at all. Felt like we were ignored most of the time, took 20 minutes to put in my order then once we got the food, we had to get up and basically serve ourselves, get our own silverware and even find us our own bottle of maple syrup. I won’t be going here again.
