Wow! By far the nicest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to! A little hidden gem up here in the North Country. Apparently they just finished an extensive remodel and it shows, it looks amazing! Beautiful interior and exterior and free built-in games at a few of the tables to keep the little ones entertained. To top it off, the staff is attentive, courteous, and and efficient. No problems making a grilled cheese for the vegetarian kiddo and even turned the burger buns so the nice toasted flat part was on the outside. I would visit this chain more often if they were all like this!
We all know McDonald’s isn’t known for it’s fine food or service but when they consistently mess up simple orders or serve old food and fries, you’d think they’d be a bit more personable to make up for it. Alas, the service is near as bad as the food. Always check before you leave because 99/100 they messed up your order. Gouverneur McDonald’s should be avoided.
It was such a pleasure to actually interact with a human when placing my order and to have someone say “thank you and have a nice day”. The dine in was great and seemed like a great team work on our visit May 3rd, around 1pm.
Absolutely horrible took my niece out to get ice cream after a movie and around midnight when we got back in town waited at the intercom for 10 minutes before my order was taken then pulled up to the first window the ladies standing back there playing on her phone get so I drive to the second window the same ladie that was just in her phone came up and gave me all my food that I didn’t even pay for yet I should have just pulled away but then I went to hand her my card bc I’m a decent guy and she says oh you didn’t pay yet, like seriously do your job!!!
Not only is the service awful, but the workers are absolutely horrid. When I ate there after school, a specific employee took pictures and videos of me WHILE I ATE and posted them on her Snapchat stories, making fun of my weight. Not only that, she also convinced her cousin and cousins friends to do the same thing, although it included following me around the restaurant, yes, even to the bathroom, and making fun of me verbally while recording. When brought up to the manager, she said she would make sure it never happened again, yet it continued to happen for weeks until I stopped going all together. The employees constantly got my orders wrong, even “forgetting” parts of them all together, and then conveniently eating what I was missing on their break, which they spent in either the booths or tables. I find it extremely hard not to believe they’re taking things from customers bags and saving them for themselves. The food is either way to hot to the point I’ve literally burned my tongue, or so cold and soggy it tastes like dog food mixed with watery ketchup and dry mustard. The milkshakes are most likely just that: milk garnished with whipped cream, because they’re so watered down it feels like I’m drinking straight up warm piss. I could eat at Arby’s and be more satisfied than this.
