I had a “causa” for appetizer, lomo saltado for entree and picarones for dessert. The food is very delicious. The pisco sour are great. The staff were super friendly with us. We also got to sing some karaoke songs and was alot of fun. I would definitely recommend coming here.

We went for the first time today. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we stepped into the door. We were seated immediately as we arrived well past the lunch rush, but before dinner.

We ordered a few different things and ALL were delicious.

Appetizer: Beef Empanada- chopped up beef instead of ground beef was enrobed in a delicious pastry crust. It had great seasoning and the slice of lime cut through any sense of heaviness that sometimes accompanies beef with pastry.

Appetizer: Alitas Acevichada- Oh my goodness. If you like fried chicken and like lime flavoring, this is a dish well worth trying. The friend chicken was beautifully fried, moist and tender. It had a delicious sauce that was drizzled over the chicken and also set aside on the serving plate as additional sauce. Really fantastic. The staff mentioned that the sauce was the same at the ceviche sauce – so really delicious.

Main Meal: Arroz Chaufa Tres Sabores- Classic dish that every Peruvian restaurant should do well, and well they did. It was perfectly seasoned and the shrimp was NOT overcooked. I was really impressed with all the flavors which worked well together.

Aji de Gallina: Amazing. As my husband said, “I don’t even mind that it is made with breast meat. It’s still very moist and tender.” Really this is amazing. The yellow sauce was delicious and the chicken was mixed in with some potatotes, which helped make the dish just a little creamier.

Bisteak al Pobre: The fried eggs were done beautifully sunny side up. The steak was served over fries, plantains, and white rice. Really, this is a staple dish which was excecuted well.

Dessert: We took it to go. We were too full to eat any more. But, the Passion Fruit Mousse was delicious, and we are awaiting to eat the Alfajores. They look delicious.

Where do I begin? The atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, the food, the portions, the price! Everything here is absolutely amazing. Can tell you from two trips, I am definitely becoming a regular customer. Food was too good to take a picture prior to eating but, that chicken sandwich is amazing! & those empanadas are mouth watering!

We recently had a large family brunch here, and I have to say the owner and her amazing staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of us and make sure everything went smoothly. I don’t usually leave reviews but felt this was merited. Half of the family is from Peru and is very particular with their food. Everyone agreed every dish was 5 stars along with the exceptional service and portions. The ambience is perfect for pictures, dancing and owner and her staff genuinely care about making you feel welcome. We will be back again!

Finally Authentic Peruvian food in Nassau county that is made with fresh ingredients! Service is amazing. Portions are great. I am very picky with my Peruvian (and Mexican) food/restaurants and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Very cute cafe vibes and they even have a fancy coffee machine so you can order your cafecito with your brunch/dessert. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend the empanada de pollo because one bite and I was transported back to Cerro De Pasco walking around with my mom. Can’t wait to go back!
