I don’t usually go to Persian restaurants because I have had some good Persian food in the past, which has set my expectations for Persian food very high and I usually get disappointed by Persian restaurants in the US. That and also, when we got to the restaurant, I wasn’t even hungry! We got the Sultani kebab, which is a good that I don’t even like, BUT I loved it! This was the best sultani I have ever had! Highly recommend it!
The manager is super nice. I loved the ghorme sabzi, warm bread and the torshi and khiarshoor, too! Their Persian hospitality was pretty evident! Just as we thought we were ready to check out, they brought a plate of cut melon desert 😂The environment is nice and they opted Persian music. Again, I highly recommend them!!!
We recently visited Colbeh in Great Neck during our trip from Montreal. As my husband is Persian, we were excited to try their cuisine. We were absolutely blown away by the incredible food – everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The grilled meats in particular were outstanding. Not only was the food amazing, but the service and hospitality were also top-notch. We had such a wonderful experience that we will definitely be returning to Colbeh the next time we’re in New York.
Colbeh Restaurant exceeded all expectations when I hosted a party there recently. From the moment I booked the event, their staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The setup was nothing short of stunning, with beautifully arranged tables and impeccable attention to detail.
Hosting my party at Colbeh was a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Whether you’re planning a small gathering or a large event, you can trust Colbeh to deliver exceptional service, stunning ambiance, and the freshest, most delicious food.
Our party was seated very quickly, and ordering was fast and easy. Fresh whole-wheat pita was served, and the waiters were ready to assist immediately. The meal portions are definitely on the larger side, meaning you will definitely be filled after one entrée. The appetizers and meals were prepared in reasonable time despite being relatively packed. The food was very well presented and overall very tasty. However, the beef dishes could have used some sort of topping/sauce (there may be one available, but I did not ask), so I would instead recommend one of the chicken or seafood dishes. Overall, our experience was very lovely, and the host was incredibly lovely and accommodating
I’m gonna talk about the party room specifically, I’ve thrown 2 events in that room, and they’ve gone above and beyond to make everything go smooth.
The manager is very accommodating, giving things on the house, constantly checking in on us. The staff and waiters are so friendly, prompt, ensuring the night went smoothly.
My family loves dining at Colbeh, and we even more so enjoy throwing larger events there.
Food as always delicious and abundant !
