Ordered here for the first time from Postmates and the food smells freaking GREAT! tostones taste good & seasoned and I enjoyed my carne empanada. :3 definitely recommend here! Affordable also.
Got a crazy craving for Dominican food this morning, ordered their Tres Golpes, SonCocho, with rice and , pollo empanadas, bottom line, very delicious. Didn’t disappoint, I felt like I was in heaven. Will definitely order again in the future. Thank you so much 😊
This place is a small, cozy place to either eat in or take to go. The lady who was cooking was very nice and sweet. We went for Mangu and the cheese had finished and she was very kind enough to make us more. I ended buying food for the family since not near any domincan restaurant she had all the food ready, Pollo quizado, sopita de Pollo, beef stew, rice and beans etc. This place is about 6 months old but seems clean, neat and I would def go again.
Just finished eating some of the most delicious food! Cafe Luz in Great Neck is a win. Homemade food at very affordable prices! The empanadas were freshly made when we placed our order and the chicken stew just melted in our mouth. The pernil was full of flavor, juicy, and crispy skin! Can’t wait to go back! You’ve got to try it! Very friendly/helpful staff.
We have gone a few times and we have gotten pernil, pollo guisado, arroz con habichuelas, and arroz con gandules and everything has been absolutely amazing, flavorful, and fresh. Amazing service, we are always greeted with a smile and they go above and beyond. Highly recommend
