Excellent food and friendly service, but too expensive for anything other than a special occasion for most people.

We’ve been to the Farmhouse twice this year (because given the setting, I wanted to give it a second chance). BUT…. It’s unlikely we’ll be back for a third chance, because it’s consistently disappointing! It could be amazing because the location and building are great, if only the owners would significantly upgrade the chef and get some decent waiting staff in. However, the service is one of the worst in the area and the food is distinctly underwhelming. The food is often cold or lukewarm and simply subpar in terms of quality. What’s worse is that it’s expensive – they charge the same prices you would pay for a Michelin Star establishment in the city but you’re getting food that is worse than you’d get on a cruise ship. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Somebody let me know when the owners get a decent chef.

Beautiful atmosphere, great bloody Mary, fantastic coffee! The eggs/sausage/home fries were only okay, and my fianceé didn’t love the omlet. But they were super nice and allowed us to have our dog on the outdoor patio 😊 …

Beautiful restaurant, but despite high expectations my party of 4 had a very disappointing dinner there on Saturday night. What we enjoyed: the lovely room and setting, low noise level, professional waitstaff, a nice bottle of wine). BUT my entire party of four was disappointed with the food. To start, we had a butter lettuce salad (good), artichoke (tasteless, needed salt) and we shared the signature lobster Mac and cheese (one person loved it, the others were underwhelmed). Entrees ranged from a disgusting, inedible Arctic char with an excess of gelatinous, cloyingly sweet sauce, an ordinary chicken paprikash, and tasteless cod with truffle sauce (note: we scraped off the sauces, added salt, and in two cases simply didn’t eat the entree). Dessert was also unremarkable ( good but not great chocolate mousse cake, and ordinary ice cream and sorbet. Save your money, go elsewhere. We don’t plan to go back.

Place is spectacular. Everything is delicious. Nothing bad on this menu. From what I understood from one of the partners, there is an organic farm that does direct business with the restaurant and it really shows. Very happy with the new team. Will definitely be back!
