I get the same thing when I come here “vegetable tikka masala,” and EVERYTIME the taste is consistent! I get the garlic naan bread, and also veggie and beef samosa and EVERYTHING IS GOOD! The service is always excellent when I go! Best Indian food around!

We dine at Agra every week and also bring all our family members and friends with us. This is in my opinion the best Indian food restaurant not only in Queens – but in NYC, When I travel I always try Indian and so far nothing compares. That’s why we keep coming back here every week. I recommend Chicken Kurma (amazingly creamy almond sauce ), Chicken Curry, Chicken Rajella (truly a gem – unique creamy sauce), Malai Kofta (the best out there), Vegetable Kurma, Chana Shaag (chickpeas with spinach), Lamb Dahl (delicious lentil sauce) Jalfrezi, all naans are delicious. Garlic naan is our favorite. And don’t forget to try delicious Mango Lassi – freshly prepared each morning. Every meal comes with complementary lentil soup, cabbage/potato salad, spicy o ions and green chutney. Music is soothing and decor is outstanding. Staff is amazing – friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.

I love the feel of this restaurant and appreciate that they play Indian music. The decor is thoughtful and the food is excellent. I’ve tried multiple dishes here and all have been excellent. The basmati rice is delicate and flavorful, and the entrees also come with a couple other small dishes of flavorful food.

The strangest thing here though is the papadam (thin lentil crisp) which comes out before your meal as a single little half sheet with two large bowls of onion chutney and cilantro chutney. The papadom is basically two bites worth and then you have these heaping bowls of dip which completely go to waste. I never understand it!

This is the best Indian food place in Queens and maybe all of NYC. We loved the chicken tikka masala and the warm service of the owner. Photos are from when we dined in.

Went back today for takeout and the taste is still amazing!

The most amazing Garlic Naan. Our favorite is the chicken Tikka masala and lamb vindaloo. Service and food are excellent. Bring chash… they charge a 4% transaction fee.
