Ordered from lomelis recently and I gotta say I was very pleased. We got the garbage burrito and the fat girl fries, both of which are delicious but don’t feel particularly Mexican – they’re probably catering towards college students. We also ordered the birria tacos (2 tacos and plus a little bowl of consomé) and wow – they were delicious. I would order the birria again every day of the week if I could. This was seriously one of the most flavorful things I’ve eaten in Plattsburgh. Can’t wait to go back to try the other dishes they offer with the birria.

El Gordo at Lomeli’s is a game-changer! This cheese and meat quesadilla is pure perfection. It’s big, bold, and bursting with flavor. If you’re a fan of cheesy, meaty goodness, you’ve got to try it. Lomeli’s has outdone themselves with this one! 🧀🌮🤩

Great little Mexican place we found while headed back from the Vermont Ferry. The food slapped harder than expected, HUGE portions, fun atmosphere. We saw tons of locals come in for take out, but you’re allowed to stay and eat at any open table.

The guy working the counter was super friendly, and seemed interested to chat. All and all, don’t miss stopping here for a great meal, and some pleasant conversation.

Good food but seating options are limited. You order ahead and they have seating in the restaurant, no table service. If you want beer, stop by Express Lane first or run over while you wait for your order. Our kids enjoyed writing on the tabletop with the chalk hey leave on the tables.
Smooth guacamole is really smooth, like sour cream smooth. The chunky guac is chunky and full of avocado, tomato, cilantro, lime and onion. Taco sauce is on the mild side and the salsa is sweet.

I stopped in the other day to try it out. I ordered the Asada Enchiladas with Rice and Beans. The food was incredibly tasty. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful in explaining to me what Asada was lol. The interior decorating is also fun. Great Place and will visit again!
