One word, outstanding 👏 I cannot find any other word to describe how perfect our first experience ordering out from Giovannas kitchen. We ordered chicken parm, rice balls (best I’ve ever had) and bombolinis. Everything was delicious, hott, fresh, big portions simply perfect! Please do yourself a favor and try Giovanna out asap!!!! …
Ordered 3 sandwiches, all of which were DELICIOUS! My husband and I were extremely impressed with the quality, portion size, and tastiness of our food.
I mentioned the food to my parents the next day, and after sharing the menu with them, they asked me to order food for them. They also were super impressed with the food!
This place is AMAZING and we will definitely order from them again! Try it – you won’t be disappointed!

One of our subcontractors who has his offices in Whitestone ordered food from Giovanna’s to deliver to our office for lunch today. And everything was fantastic!
From the antipasto platter, to the hot dishes to the desserts we loved everything.

We recently ordered food for a birthday in my office. Everything was delicious! In the past, we’ve ordered from several different Italian restaurants in the neighborhood, however this place hands down is the best. Everything tasted fresh, and full of flavor. You want authentic Italian food? Food that tastes like it’s homemade? Well this is the place! We loved the food so much that we’re ordering food for my upcoming birthday this Monday. I hope this place sticks around for a very long time. This will be our new go to place in the area.
Delicious food, great service that will have you coming back again and again. My family catered last year’s Easter dinner from Giovanna’s on a family member’s recommendation. I have always loved Italian food, so I’m biased, but their dishes were extraordinary. We ordered orechiette with sausage and broccoli rabe (my favorite), chicken marsala, eggplant parmigiana, focaccia, honey cakes, tiramisu, and bombolinis. Each dish was a huge hit with our guests.
Fast forward, we placed a repeat order on Saturday (we decided to add an order of penna salmone). The staff was gracious and patiently explained the contents of dishes we were considering (kids with food allergies).
Coincidentally, we placed the order during Giovanna’s celebration of Saint Joseph’s Day. The mood was festive and the patrons lively. I had some fresh parmigiana from the Saint Joseph’s Table, which, of course, led me to look around the store for something else to nibble on. I encountered their breadcrumb pizza for the first time and it was amazing!
I can’t wait until Easter morning to pick up our order! I highly recommend Giovanna’s for any occasion.
