Family get together to celebrate a special birthday. Had opted to sit outside on the patio which would have been a great choice had it not been so hot. The stuffed artichoke was delicious but so huge I brought most of my dinner home. There are many offerings on the menu.
Price for “house” wine is a bit on the high side.
Excellent food, splendid staff, tasty espresso martinis my absolute favorite and they hit it dead on! Food was delicious as were the apps, love the expansive wine list with higher end wines as well and loved seeing my own favorite on the list as well! Chicken Marsala top notch, bourbon burger my son loved and my husband enjoyed his Alfredo with broccoli and chicken.
I had the most amazing experience here last weekend while dining here with my husband and another couple. The atmosphere is relaxed and not too noisy at all (Saturday night, early dinner hour). Staff were welcoming and friendly. They stopped by to check on us often as well.
Now, for the food. It was absolutely delicious. We started with mozzarella sticks (always a first good test). They were cooked perfectly, and the marinara dipping sauce was flavored nicely. The bread that comes with all meals also arrives with an oil and balsamic dipping bowl. I don’t know why it tasted so good, but I couldn’t help but keep eating more!
My husband ordered the Philly pizza and loved it so much that he can’t wait to go back to try one of the many others on the menu. I had Chicken Marsala with Penne Pasta. All of their pasta is homemade. The Marsala Sauce had a perfect balance, not too sweet and also not too heavy on the wine. Chicken was thinner, which I prefer, and cooked well. (I prefer chicken that is cooked for a bit longer.) Our friends also liked their meals.
I can’t wait to go back – there are a bunch more things on the menu I want to try (Shrimp Scampi Pizza, you’re next). Highly recommend.
I’ll try this place again. We did go on a busy Saturday night and it was busy! Our waitress barely checked in on us, but it seemed like she was the only person taking and delivering orders. There were a couple others floating around cleaning tables. Anyway it took well over an hour for our food to arrive. I ordered a veggie panini which was enjoyable. My daughter 11 years old order the kids grilled chicken with fries. The fries are frozen out of a bag not even seasoned. I had some that came with my meal and they were below subpar . She also said her chicken was dry and over cooked. It looked very dry as I watched peal off the over done charred pieces. I will try again however, Maybe on a less busy night.
The food is excellent the staff is awesome. The choice of food is excellent. I can say the menu has a little bit of everything, including a few gluten-free choices. So something for everyone. I ah e eaten here many times over the years and have never once been disappointed. They have a beautiful out door space to eat outside covered and a beautiful Zen garden to admire while you are sitting. There’s some wide open space if you have a fidget for a child to run around and get some energy dispersed. I highly suggest bringing your appetite and the key lime pie or Gelato for dessert.
