This is a great little bar situated right across from Lake Desolation. Incredible food great staff and ice cold beer. We come here whenever we are in the area camping. Their food is always made fresh and very delicious. They have both inside and outside seating and can handle a large group if needed. A true find.
On Lake Desolation NY very small quiet lake in the southern Adirondacks. Good bar food and drink selections.

Atmosphere is boisterous but not out of control (dinnertime summer. Can’t speak to late night) Busy, but excellent wait staff keep up just fine. Not specifically a kids restaurant but my kids were welcome and happy
So happy that new owners have come in. It’s so much better! The prime rib on Saturday is fantastic with a great flavor. I’m a grandson of an Italian immigrant grandmother, and with all due respect, grandma, this place has some great marinara!!! We were eating it plain after we had our fantastic mozzarella bites. Keep up the excellent work! We love the new Tinneys!
We were so happy that Tinneys had a new owner. We used to go there all the time and then stopped because of the quality and in consistency of the food. So I had a hard time getting my wife to go there. I showed her the new menu and even I was impressed. New items and they have wraps which is a favorite of my wife’s at any restaurant or pub. So we ordered take out tonight 7/14/24 to give it a try. We both ordered the south western wraps. I love the blackened chicken which was supposed to be in the wrap. We got home started eating the chicken was not blackened chicken but regular chicken which was very good and cooked properly but it wasn’t blackened chicken which was disappointing. We will definitely try it again hopefully the cooks get it right thus time.
