I actually felt welcomed upon my first visit here today not too sure what others have encountered. But the food I ordered was on point I was satisfied with my food. The rice, Mac and cheese with the wings they had a kick to it too. There’s parking but it could be pretty limited. They open at 11am and they were prepared 10mins after once I walked in.
Update: The salmon could be better for $18. Barely has any taste
Yesterday September 19 , I ordered wings with Mac and cheese . And the food was so disgusting . Mac tasted like boiled pasta with just black pepper and velvetta cheese. Cheese wasn’t even melted properly . Mash tasted like pure milk . Whoever the cook is just find a new job because it gave that the person no longer wants to work there anymore . No effort or into the food whatsoever. This isn’t soul food at all . Vibes fell off !!!
This establishment is using expired food to prepare their food or their ingredients aren’t being refrigerated properly so it’s spoiled. I ordered food yesterday from here and now I’m severely sick. I should have never bought food from a place so empty. I see why now. Shame on you.
They have one price on their menu and then tell you a different “updated” price at checkout. What was suppose to be a $12 meal ended up being $20 and my ppl’s $23 meals turned into $33? That’s just extremely negligent and I don’t usually write bad reviews, but that’s not okay
Worst fish dinner I ever had. The fish was bland, veg rice extremely salty, and they gave me like 6 french fries. There are a bunch of kids/very young adults working there. Do see this place lasting much longer.
