BEST Italian food out there!! The ambience, the food, the view, everything is amazing. A one of a kind dinning experience. 110% recommend it to anyone!!! We ordered the Linguine “Bayside” and Nonna’s, both were so flavorful and my favorite the ricotta pistachio cake for dessert!
My cousin and I went here for a meal because it was nearby. Their official grand opening wasn’t until the next day, but they were open for business. I would characterize it as “fine dining with no dress code”. 🙂 For appetizers we had the Burrata, and the grilled octopus (‘Polpo’ on their menu). Both were fantastic! Entrees included the sesame crusted tuna, and Nonna’s Sunday Sauce (beef braciole, meatball, hot Italian sausage and rigatoni with marinara sauce over it all). The food was absolutely top notch! If you are in the area please make it a point to dine here. The wait staff was great too. Kudos to Lindsay (sp?) the hostess. She should get a raise! In fact, the owner, Antonio himself, stopped by our table at the end of the meal and chatted for a few minutes. What a great guy! You can tell her really cares about his food. Off the top of his head he said from where they source the Burrata. If you are within an hour’s drive from Lake George Village it is worth going. If you can get one of the tables with the view of the lake, please do so.
The Restaurant on the outside is absolutely beautiful, a gorgeous building overlooking the Queen of the lakes. Nestled away in Dunham’s Bay , this fine dining establishment exudes breathtaking scenery and an ambience second to NONE. Fabulous from the minute you enter , you are greeted with a smile from Peter who has his hand in every job and adds to the warm welcoming feeling. . From the hostess to the wait staff to the great vibe at the bar , Antonio’s welcoming staff makes you feel like family. The restaurant inside is warm and inviting. Sit near the gorgeous fireplace, view the beautiful lake or enjoy the fabulous patio , whichever you chose , you will enjoy a wonderful dining experience.
The menu is an incredible mix of appetizers, light fare to a complex magnificent list of entree’s. I cannot lie, I struggled deciding on what to choose from as it was such a great list . I decided to go with the eggplant. Sliced and cooked to perfection, with a marinara sauce that was seasoned just exactly right. The bread that accompanied the entree was homemade and warm and carries the memories of Sunday dinner at Grandma’s house.
Antonio the owner speaks to each and every customer and really listens to what his customers have to say. He is passionate and let’s every other customer know they really do matter .
Antonio’s is a 10 star rating. A truly enjoyable evening.
I hesitate giving Antonio’s 5 stars. I’m a local and would rather have this place to ourselves. The food, staff and ownership are top notch. Class operation and the view can’t be beat.
I hope dinners are better than Breakfast. I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. I got toast and a bacon tomato omelette. Specifically saying no sun dried tomatoes when asked. A waitress help fix the order. Only to get bacon bits and a fried egg on toast. Pictures are what is listed on the website and what I got. Friends tell me dinners are very good. Apparently not breakfast.
