We stopped in here for lunch while on a road trip. Located along beautiful Lake George this coffee shop/bakery/sandwich shop is really amazing. We had the Reuben, and a turkey bagel sandwich. The Reuben was honestly the best I have ever had. It was flavorful without being greasy. The service was great, and the coffee was excellent as well. Check this place out!
We stopped in Lake George off season, our first choice for breakfast was closed so we ended up here. I’m glad we did. Everything we had far exceeded our expectations. It’s clear that they put a lot of thought into the food. The biscuit was homemade and one of the best I’ve ever had, as was the gravy that went with it. The iced chai had a nice spice to it and wasn’t super sweet like many chais are. Perfect breakfast.
One thing is for sure that they have a really good coffee. We ordered pan cake, scone, omelet, and coffee, and everything was pretty much good. They open at 6 : 00 in the morning, so it is a plus point as a traveler that you can enjoy a good breakfast and start your journey ahead early in the morning.
Looking to top off our experience in our first trip to Lake George by having a nice breakfast before we head back to Montreal. Caffe Vero opens early so we went in and tried. Ordered Andirondacker and omelette which are both delicious and original. No doubt we’ll be back to try other goodies. Order taker seems a little tense for first timers like us but we understand since it didn’t take long for this place gets packed.
I come here with my family for breakfast every year on our annual trip to Lake George. Everything is very clean, and the food and coffee is always great. Highly recommend.
