5 Reviews on “Lake George Steamboat Company”
I did the Islands of the Narrows Cruise this past Memorial Day weekend on the Mohican, and I absolutely loved it. Not only was the Captain very knowledgeable about the history of Lake George, but it was a bonus that he added some good humor to his stories. The lake and mountains are positively breathtaking. The cruise was reasonably priced at only $37 for 2-1/2 hours, and we covered 14 miles out of the 32 miles of Lake George. The ship is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly. Overall, it is truly a great way to spend your afternoon on a beautiful sunny day. Just make sure if you sit outside to wear plenty of sunblock. After the cruise, they have a really great gift shop to definitely check out.
I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a one-hour steamboat ride with a group of friends, and it was an enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere aboard the steamboat was nice. We enjoyed being treated to amazing panoramas as we travelled down the water. The beautiful landscapes made for the ideal background for capturing special moments with friends. Even though the voyage was only an hour long, it felt like a complete experience. However, if you’re looking for a longer journey, it might be interesting to have a look at the company’s long-term packages. Overall, the steamboat ride with my friends was a delightful experience.
We took the 2.5 hour lake tour on the Mohican. It was such a wonderful experience. The cruise was so calm and relaxing. The staff was friendly and welcoming! The captain was an exceptional tour guide, providing history and more. And the views beautiful. We’d definitely do this again.
5 years ago today my husband and I were married on the lunch cruise, absolutely the best day of my life and all the staff was incredible to us our family and guests
Had so much fun on our little brunch cruise around the lake. The view was beautiful. There was a little buffet with a salad bar, sausage, bacon, ham, eggs, cod, chicken pot pie, and more. They also served various pastries, dessert, and beverages, including a glass of champagne. It was leisurely with the sound of live music playing in the background. You were really able to sit back and take it the sights.
