Had the pleasure of dining at Taste of India and it was a true culinary delight! The ambiance is cozy, and the staff are so welcoming. But oh, the food! It’s absolutely divine, bursting with authentic flavors. Don’t skip the samosas and butter chicken – they’re to die for! If you love Indian cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
The worst biryani you will ever taste. Ordered a goat biryani and it has less than 10 GRAMS of goat pieces 3 days back cooked rice for $25 and a mandatory gratuity of 20%.
I can’t fathom the negative reviews! The food was authentically fantastic. My favorite dish was the Dal Tarka, perfectly paired with Garlic Naan. The scenery and decor of the restaurant were charming. I even chatted with the owner, and her love and care for people and traditions truly shone through. Highly recommend!
A must visit! If you love Indian food!
We went to the Taste of India restaurant at lake george for dinner and the food was amazingly tasty. In the last past years, we have tried other Indian restaurants, but there is no comparison in the taste. The service was outstandingly quick in a warm and cozy atmosphere. We had both veg and non veg platter which almost includes everything. Chicken Makhani, Chicken Saag, Chicken biryani, Sheek kabab!! We enjoyed the chicken entrees with fresh Tandoori Naan bread and basmati rice. We highly recommend this place to everyone. There is ample parking space so no worries!!!
We are group of 3 and had visited this restaurant 3 days in a row. The food is exceptionally good with the good service. I particularly love chicken curry with the naan. The atmosphere is good with a nice scenery and Bollywood songs. If you are looking for a perfect Indian food in Lake George, this is the one.
