Haven’t sat down for a meal at Fort William Henry since our wedding so it was great having the option to sit back in the white lion room as I love the atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and the food and drink were great! Highly recommend the vanilla pots de crème for dessert
What a wonderful experience in a very elegant setting. We were a party of six, the menu is quite extensive.. everyone found a dish for their taste, the appetizers were delicious and the deserts were fabulous. Our waitress Taylor was very attentive and made the evening even more fun . We would recommend the Lakeside restaurant with five stars
Our dinner was beyond delicious. Their new chef John made everything SPOT ON. I don’t know if I’ve ever been as happy with the cook on my steak. Steven has never eaten pickles, never, and he kept going back for more. And our server Taylor made sure everything was just perfect. I’d also like to shout out Courtney who really tried to make our experience just wonderful.
We could hardly understand our waitress, so we had no idea what the special was, her English was very bad. Ordered a house salad and supposedly it had dressing on it, but it did not after basically waving my hand for the waitress to come over, I asked for dressing for it. The place was not busy at all it was Saturday at 5:15pm. Ordered the Grilled Ribeye with mushrooms and creamy mashed potatoes ( per the menu) Medium Rare I requested. It arrived Medium Well and the mushroom sauce also had Tomatoes sauce, tomato base with it.( THIS WAS NOT STATED ON THE MENU) I am very sensitive to Tomatoes so this was not great. The strawberry shortcake was good,if you used a knife to cut your biscuits. Had to again flagged down the waitress to get our bill.. so sad I heard great things about this place
We were there this past Friday, party of four. Not one of us could say our meals were good. Our waitress was sweet but we could hardly understand her. My aunts salmon was overcooked and her potatoes were undercooked. My uncle’s steak was saturated in some awful sauce and he said his steak was tough. My husbands steak was also tough. The worst was my food. My steak tasted like it had been cooked on a dirty grill, the potato au gratin was GROSS🤢. It had a very foul taste, like something that had spoiled. I asked for a side of mashed potatoes instead which were also not good, not creamy at all, more like instant mashed potatoes texture.
That night I had diarrhea every hour through the night, into the next day. I wasn’t better until Sunday!!
