    Came here for my birthday and we absolutely enjoyed the quality food, service and atmosphere. Our waitress was so sweet to send us home with a birthday dessert even though we were too full to order one. We would definitely come back again!

    I took my lady for her birthday, and we enjoyed the experience overall, This has become one of my favorite restaurants. Although my lady’s steak was a little undercooked, and the salad was a bit dry, they were remedied VERY quickly with a freshly cooked steak, and more dressing. We had to wait 15 min for a table even though we had a reservation, but I was pleased with where we were seated. My dinner & drinks were excellent. My lady enjoyed the custom birthday menu and the birthday brookie. The standout for me was the mashed potatoes. No gravy or other accouterments, just plain mashed potatoes, and they were the BEST I’ve EVER had! I would definitely recommend Giancarlos, and will be visiting again.

    We had a great experience! Emily did a fantastic job taking care of us… I could cut the steak with a butter knife. It is easily a place you should plan to eat at during any visit to the area. 👍

    All three of us dined at Giancarlos for the first time. We were celebrating one of our friends relocation to another city. I called ahead to book reservations and explained our friend leaving and the restaurant made this occasion most memorable. The customized desert was a surprise. The entree’s were cooked to perfection. Sea Bass and Risotto was smooth and light, Slow braised Short Ribs melted in your mouth and Gnocchi Arrabiatta was truly homemade. Everyone enjoyed their dish and the service was outstanding! Great job Giancarlos..Kudos to our server who was very versed in communicating the menu “Victoria” and naturally the service Director Paul was nice to stop by our table. Thank you Giancarlos for a memorable EXPERIENCE!

    Potentially the best steak I have ever had.

    I have eaten many steaks at this point, 80% of which are usually watery, overpriced and super disappointing. The crust was by far the best I have tasted, with an incredible texture full of flavour.

    A smart portion of my medium rare cooked steak was a little watery, but this was maybe 5% of the cut, and the quality of the rest of meat easily compensated for it.

    The sides & dessert were enjoyable, but the fillet steak was definitely the main attraction.

    We were hosted by Hannah who was super professional and attended to the table with great pacing throughout our visit.

    The low-lit environment was very fitting for the type of restaurant, and was generally a nice place to be.

    Strong recommendation even if you’re an hour drive away from the restaurant!
