Loved the coffee here. Plenty of choices for drinks available. Great ambience and atmosphere. The staff was great and helpful. The murals, photography, music playing in background and art were amazing. I loved my experience here and definitely recommend this place.
This beautiful small cozy coffee in a high foot traffic spot area is definitely the place to be if you’re seeking a quick bite to eat and Coffee to start your morning. After exiting the 7 train, I immediately opened Yelp searching for a local coffee shop in Long Island City. Now I’m never in Long Island City nor do I come around. But this time I wanted to make it worth it. I came across Sweet Leaf and they definitely blew me away. The quality the various options of fresh baked goods and coffee beverages. I knew for a fact I started my morning just right after visiting. The bathroom were clean, the dining area was clean. My experience overall with my meal…. Perfect! The staff was great. Do you want coffee? We’ll look no further!

The coffee was delicious and I loved the atmosphere of the shop. It’s definitely busy and seating is limited.
The person at the counter has terrible customer service skills. Firstly, no greeting, my advice to the owner you need to do more to hire competent/friendly staff.
Issue description: Ordered 2 slices of banana walnut cake priced at $3.75 each (see image – attached evidence), the unfriendly employee rings me up for $4.00 each. When I point out the obvious price discrepancy (as a matter of principle) he says he can’t do anything and then proceeds to try and argue his way out. I mentioned instead of arguing with a customer find a way to correct the issue. I got some incoherent response. So I ask for the manager and guess what? No surprise, the manager was not helpful either.
I’m definitely not going to recommend this location to anyone.
Asked for a green tea. Expected small size as standard. Was given a large $6.53. This issue was not offered to be corrected.
