Authentic sushi spot with great service and reasonable prices! The staff were super nice and accommodating of our newborn stroller and helped us find a good seat as fast as they could. We ordered the chirashi omakase (which has more premium fish than the normal omakase), ankimo, potato salad, and kamikaze roll. All very delicious and fresh! Also the green tea ice cream might be one of the best I’ve ever had. It tastes homemade!
2 of us went in for dinner on a friday night early. we were seated right away, the service was prompt, and everyone was very kind. we ordered a beer and the ramen/sushi dinner special. a small salad came out to start and then we got the vegetable ramen / special sushi, and the pork ramen / spicy tuna roll. everything was fresh and tasty. not the best ramen in the world but the prices were more than fair and we spent about $50 for the both of us which feels like a steal. they brought complimentary green tea to end the meal which was a nice touch. it’s a great low key spot to have in the neighborhood for sushi that’s walking distance off the dutch kills and 36th st stop.
Very good authentic sushi in LIC. We sat at the counter and witnessed everything prepared fresh and to order. No wonder at just 5pm this small restaurant was full with patrons. Service was impeccable and friendly.
I only wish their sashimi was sliced a tad bigger. The salmon especially was no bigger than an inch.
A really cute mom-and-pop Japanese restaurant in LIC/Astoria. Came in for lunch and absolutely loved the vibes here❣️
They have a very straight-forward lunch menu and I thought the pricing was so good given the quality and the portion of everything. We got the Sashimi+Sushi set and the Ramen+Sushi set and it was such a satisfying meal! Would definitely like to return 🙂
Craving omakase and found this place nearby from a list of best omakase lunch under $100. We both got the $60 omakase lunch – simple, no frills, but it was worth the value. We’ve had better but have also paid more would’ve had to travel further. The toro peices were top notch as was the unagi and the roll. The table next to us got 4 bowls of ramen along with karaage chicken and they made comments about how good it all was. Our server was the best you could ask for. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but would come again if in the area. We left satisfied and full so no complaints.
