5/5 This is an absolute hidden gem. The service was prompt and professional. The food was great, we ordered the brunch burger, it was fantastic. I didn’t have any of the cocktails, however they do seem to have a full bar. We went on a Saturday and it was practically empty, very relaxed atmosphere.

The food was amazing. We were very impressed with the calamari, the flat bread with burrata and pesto, the steak, steak salad, the vodka penne with chicken, and the tiramisu. Tye cocktails and mock tIls were wonderful. Very professional and delicious. Apologies, no photos, everything was eaten as soon as it was out.
Most unbelievable pizza of my life. Drinks amazing too. Service, attentive but not overbearing. 10/10 recommend!
We hit a home run with this hidden jewel! Monarca, is a cozy and small restaurant that is ideal for a quiet dinner and tasty cuisine. Their booking app was Toast Tables, one I’m unfamiliar, but functioned similarly to Open Table, and worked efficiently.
Parking on Friday (1/6/24) evening was $1.25 for 2.5 hours, more than enough time for our visit.
Our server/host was Wilmer, who we found to be very welcoming and friendly. He worked the floor almost single-handedly, but was able to avail himself to answer questions and provide quality service.
To start, we ordered margaritas. Julie had the strawberry and I had the classic. These drinks were made perfectly and tastefully. They were probably the best drinks we’ve ever had, including the ones we’ve enjoyed in Mexico! We shared a delicious Caesar’s Salad that had crispy greens and flavorful dressing. I savored the medium-rare rib eye steak, though it was a bit pricey. Julie said her chicken tacos were the best tacos she’s ever had! For dessert we shared a Vanilla Crème brûlée, that was outstandingly fresh!
We finally found our golden spot that I’m sure we will frequent with future regularity! Way to go Monarca!
Loved the tamarind margarita (I’m latina and noticed most places the tamarind taste from concentrate) I’m happy that here it tasted right! For appetizer I had the white bean prosciutto arugula croutons lemon salad with fresh ingredients and big portion plus I loved the Al pastor flatbread with hot sauce on top. The location is nice too. Definitely a place to go back to.
