Overall the place was okay. The chairs are uncomfortable and it’s kind of loud inside. The wings were pretty good, but definitely not the best. The Tuscan burger was really good. My wife built her own and it came out cold along with both our onion straws. The garlic fries were also pretty disappointing since there was barely any garlicky taste to them and they were just covered in parmasean. I would come back to try a different burger, just wouldn’t order any special fries this time.
Visiting port Jefferson and had lunch at this restaurant. The location is near the ferry so easy to walk to. Bar service very good. Friendly staff. Food was fresh and delicious. Got a few appetizers with the dipping sauce. Definitely a place to visit while touring in NY.
Food was good. Food could be great if service was a little faster. The Brie cheese and bacon were cold on the burger. Overall, would go back. Lots of burgers to try.
I walked in and ordered the special smash burger to go. The order came out promptly, and the staff were very polite. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
The smash burger was not a smash burger. The patties were extremely thick, making it a regular-sized burger instead. Additionally, the burger was overdone, likely kept warm for hours and then cooked on high when I ordered it.
While I’m a patient person, the real issue was the lack of seasoning. The burger, fries, and onion strings were all bland, as if salt was banned from the restaurant. The fries were an extra charge and not the default side, yet they were just as unseasoned and disappointing.
I expected the special to be better seasoned and of higher quality than their regular burgers, but it wasn’t. Sadly, I’ll be adding this place to my list of restaurants to avoid.
Food was good, but not really worth the price. Burgers don’t come with fries which is a crazy concept to me. And you’re “not allowed” to substitute the side given for fries even if you pay extra. You have to order an entire dish of fries. Not to mention the service was horrendous. So slow. Even when it wasn’t busy at all. Can’t imagine the dinner rush here. Waited almost 40 min for 2 burgers. Wouldn’t go back here again. Don’t recommend.
