A hidden gem in the Soundview Section of Port Washington, New York. Great coal oven pizza and pasta dishes. Greek salad is awesome. Sausage Pie is a must. No slices, you can only purchase a whole pie. CASH ONLY!!! Easy to see right off of Shore Road. Small parking lot that fills up fast especially on the weekends and at night. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Public Restrooms. Moderately priced. We will definitely be going back.

Great staff and atmosphere. The pizza was good. I found the cheese to be too heavy and it made the dough wet. I like my pizza crisp. I had the red and white style. I preferred the red.

Homemade crush tomato fresh mozzarella pizza is out of this world. WORKERS ARE SO KIND TOO!! Sweet, cozy atmosphere- best pizza I’ve ever had. Best dough. Love everything about this place

Upon arriving, seating is quite cramped… there is no glass or any barrier between where they make the pizza and where people are sitting… so because of that there’s flour basically everywhere ! It’s also not very sanitary – anyone can cough or sneeze right onto the dough !

Service was just okay but it would be much better if they had at least another waiter on hand. Pizza was pretty good BUT our total bill came out to $52 for 1 large pie with two toppings and 1 cup of soda.

Overall, price is not worth it for this pizza.
    Won’t be back !

We travel to Port Washington via sail boat and love pizza, it was our first time to Salvatore’s…From the moment the door opened it was inviting… clean and pretty! Staff was great! But the pizza was amazing! I grew up on Pepes pizza in New Haven CT which is amazing so all my pizza experiences are matched to Pepes.. Salvatore was right up there with Pepes! Thank you Salvador’s… we will b back in the fall and will tell all our friends to hit Salvatore’s pizza! Thank you!
