My experience at Shamrock was truly amazing! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff. The appetizers were flavorful, and the main course was a culinary masterpiece. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, and meeting the owner was a delightful bonus. A memorable dining experience in every way!
Stoped in for a quick bite and the food was great. Had the chicken marsala and it was delicious. Our server Lea was so nice, attentive and a great conversationalist. I would stop in again just to say hi to her! Lea and the shamrock made me fall in love with Long Island.
I went on 3/17 for St Patrick’s Day. I got the corned beef and cabbage. The corned beef was cut more on the thin side which I like. It was slightly fattier than I prefer but not terrible. The flavor was good, you could taste that it had been brined for some time. The cabbage was cooked well. The potatoes were red potatoes which was a nice touch and they were soft but still a little firm like I like. Everything was good except they put a sweet sauce that I couldn’t really identify on top of everything. I really didn’t like that but it was so minimal I could ignore it. They gave a piece of irish soda bread which I appreciated. Also the dish was 21 which was fairly priced and I feel like you got a good amount of meat which is really the costly part of the dish. Overall a good experience.
Nice Irish bar of Huntington off the beaten path. Food and drink is good. Slainte!
Went to this place because I was working nearby and ordered the kicking buffalo sandwich with fries on my lunch break…the blonde lady there told me I had to wait 15 minutes which I did…she seemed to be busy that day and seemed to be the only one there…after about 20 minutes I got the food and payed 18.50 for it. But since my break is only 30 minutes I just grabbed the food and left and went back to the job site but when I went to eat it I took a bite and the chicken was raw and it tasted disgusting so I spit it out! It was disgusting and I checked the rest of the filet and it was raw. After lunch I went back to the place to get my money back but the same blonde lady said she had to take it to the back first to check it out. After she did she came back with an attitude saying it was not raw and trying to argue but she finally gave my money back and told me to never come back again which I wasn’t planning on anyway but I could have done without the bad customer service adding to the awful food they serve. Don’t go to this place because the food is given undercooked and if you complain they give you attitude. TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT!!!
