5 Reviews on “Pizza Mia”
When travelling i’m always up for trying new vegan food, especially pizza – the cheese is the hardest thing to get right. I found this place on Monday night and I went back every night the rest of the week – it was that good. I did the Meat Haters (lol) the Cheesesteak pizza and the garlic cheesesteak pizza. And of course fried dough sprinkled throughout the week. Everything was fantastic. I’m sure their ‘regular’ menu is just as good, but in case anyone is looking for a good vegan pizza here you go.
Social media does this pizza place no proper justice for how awesome it is. Staff was very polite, and accommodating. The specialty pizza we asked for was no issue to be made, the garlic knots were aggressively garlicky, the vodka sauce was delicious, and the pizza was incredibly dense and cheesy. Will absolutely drive from MA here again.
The staff was amazing. The pizza and galic knots were to die for. We asked for a specialty pizza that we’ve seen online and they nicely advised its a longer wait but it was worth it. I highly recommend and we live 2 hours away and we will be back! Thank you!
Regular at Pizza Mia, my favorite slot for a slice on a lunch break in Newburgh. Location is convenient and near places to shop. The creative slices are filling, tasty, and the people here care about their end product. Their service is always above and beyond. 100% recommend stopping in and trying a unique slice that catches your eye. You won’t be disappointed!
My order from Uber Eats just arrived, and I’m SCREAMING because this is so good. 3 kids approve! I have been STUCK in Middletown for over 10 years without having real pizza. They saved my taste buds. They legit have the best pizza outside of NYC, period.
Now for the 411 on what we got;
1 Large Cheese Pizza Pie – please remember I’m telling you that this came from Newburgh to Middletown and was still phenomenal. Their sauce tastes very, very good. It has a crisp herbiness that is refreshing – but not covered in chunks of herbs. It’s in the sauce itself. A very proper sauce. Definitely a good blend of cheeses and the right blend. Not greasy, and very crispy crust.
2 Orders of Garlic Knots with sauce – These are the right size, shape, and flavor. They’re covered in garlic goodness and they’re crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. Their dough is also very tasty.
1 Family Size order of French Fries – I had 3 kids waiting on these fries, and they’re all gone. The older 2 grabbed the container after trying them. They took a long ride to get here and we loved them. Good flavor, right texture, and the kids approve!
Overall, we can’t wait to order from them again!
