My mom brought me here for lunch as this used to be her favorite spot while growing up in Newburgh. It did not disappoint. The sauce is the best part. I got the Penne Alla Vodka and was incredibly impressed as this was one of the best that I have ever had. Used the garlic bread to dip in the sauce and was in heaven. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend bringing family and enjoying some classic Italian food.
I went last night after touring some wineries with family & friends, this restaurant was recommended by a Bar tender & it did not disappoint. The service was extraordinary, the food was absolutely delicious! The portions are big and fairly priced, 3 family members had one of last nights seafood pasta special, my friends had the skirt steak special & chicken Alfredo tortellini, I had chicken Francese, since it was my Birthday dinner our waiter brought me Tiramisu🥳. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re around this area, not only for the great service but the delicious food!
So we have seen a lot of amazing reviews and mentions of this place for a couple years. The other night we were in town and even though it says reservations recommended it was 7:00 pm and figured why not try a table for two. 10 minutes later we had a table. The service was on point. From the appetizer to the main course of the food was amazing. I had enough of my meal for two sittings. You go here and you won’t be disappointed.
Ask for the “Sal,” an amazingly tasty seafood over angel hair, to die for!
Always enjoy a meal here whenever I’m back in Newburgh. Memories of happy family times come flooding back with each bite.
Decided to give this place a try and here are my thoughts. The pros were staff were friendly, decent decor, and good calamari. The cons were the food. Had the chicken parm penne alla vodka which had a bitter after taste and was luke warm. My daughter had the same thing and ended up adding cheese, salt and pepper to give it flavor.
The NY strip was so chewy and lacked flavor. Spent about $200, which is no problem if the food was good, but it was not. Can’t say I will ever go back.
