The food was good, but the service sucked. That lady working the register hated her job and I think her life. She was miserable and just mean. I asked for extra hush puppies and she said “no, you get two with your order!” I asked for extra instead of fries and she said “no! Pick something else!”!
The person behind the counter was absolutely annoyed at our mere presence and we were the ONLY ones there! So very rude to the point where I turned to my husband and said you deal with him because I’m NOT going to take it another minute. The food was awful. Everything was over fried, greasy and dark. The fish had a strong fishy taste and smell that we couldn’t even eat it. Just awful..dont waste your time or money there
It was clean. The lady taking my order said it might take a few minutes for a new batch to finish. I was assuming that was my chicken, and of course I want the fresh batch!
Please, also, take the “how much you spent per person” amount with the knowledge that all of that food, that was for me. I ate well for a week. I ordered a bucket of chicken with biscuits and four sides, with a bag of soda.
hush puppies were good, chicken wasn’t bad but fish was very small and very dark brown and didn’t taste good as oil was running off them. tasted like old oil
We generally only stop out of a nostalgic yearning. It’s about what you would expect for fast food in Batavia. Lol
