A old diner reimagined as a sixties Japanese bar. Halfway to Blade Runner. Great brew selection and they have music regularly. Food was good but not great. The staff is friendly and the whole vibe makes any visit memorable.

One of thw best Japanese food in Beacon, specialy for every third Thursday when Cosmokase performance at the house. Awesome food, awesome band. I wish I come back one day.
This is probably one of the first reviews I’ve ever left anywhere but I had the gnarliest food experiences of my life. Let me preface this with I’ve been a customer since 2017 and have gone there a lot. Service is normally hit or miss with speed and accuracy, but it was just part of the charm in my opinion. Tonight I stopped by with my fiancé ordered my usual and was taking one of my last bites when i bit something crunchy and it instantly released a vile taste into my mouth like nothing before. Spiting it out onto my plate low and behold a ACTUAL STINK BUG with my teeth marks in it. Needless to say I am beyond disgusted, the server came over and asked if there was anything he could do which was nice and the manager comped the food. Honestly they handled it the best they could I just can’t get over how gross that experience was.
Their selection of beer is always extensive and their food offerings are always great. They are the only place I have seen Japanese purple sweet potato as fries. Sometimes the service could be faster but is definitely understandable when you see the waitstaff working hard to make sure all the tables are being helped on a busy night.
Not too many vegeterian options here. I got the mushroom bun and sweet potato fries that came with a curry dipping gravy and amazing mayo aioli sauce. I recommend getting those.
My friends got the ramen and rice bowls, the serving size was enough for each pair to share one bowl. So consider that, to save money as the price is kind of expensive here.
