We stopped by after they opened for some chips and queso – it was delicious so we knew we’d be back. Today we came in to try the rest of the food getting a variety of tacos to try out the different meats and salsa. Everything was fresh, delicious and fulfilled our cravings. The portion sizes are great, the place is very clean and the staff incredibly friendly even during ‘a rush’. Well done!

This location only has a few seats to dine in but they do a great job with packaging the to-go orders – the boxes are nice and sturdy so it’s easy to eat in the car. I especially appreciated the taco tray coming with three separate groves for each taco to sit in.

Thrilled to have this mexican spot locally and can’t wait to enjoy it again soon. If you are looking for an awesome lunch or dinner and craving mexican- look no further.

What a great new place in Plattsburgh! We ordered the burritos. I like spicy food so we added jalapenos and fuego salsa. (Highly recommend!) There are many topping options and the Mexican soda was yummy. A few places to sit inside but this strikes me as a good take out spot. Owners and workers at every nice and helpful!

Discovering this gem while being four hours away from home was an amazing find! The restaurant offered good food, excellent and friendly service, and an incredible, colorful atmosphere. I ordered the pork quesadilla, which was delicious. My wife opted for the chicken quesadilla, and to my surprise, my usually picky 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed her cheese quesadilla with extra sour cream. She even devoured an extra beef hardshell taco! This place certainly doesn’t skimp on protein or toppings; they pile everything sky-high. If you ever find yourself in Plattsburgh, I highly recommend this establishment. Great job to the team!

El Sol’s Mexican Kitchen, we had been hearing good things about their food and yesterday we decided to stop in for lunch.
She had a Quesadilla, I had the El Sol Bowl. Her one year old granddaughter? She had little bits and pieces of what we were having, she’s one.
We weren’t disappointed. Their food is delicious, the place is clean and the price is right. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go. An excellent addition to Plattsburgh’s dining experience.
It is located at 23 Smithfield Boulevard, in the plaza directly next to AutoZone. 🙂

Wow! Hidden gem in Plattsburg. Great taste, great portions awsome price. The person who served us was so kind, took time to explain menu gave us such a great service. Took the bowls (around 11$) and it was over my expectation. Very fresh, tasty, original.
