I was craving another order of “Meggie Cutlets” (chicken francaise), & Cesar of Capperi Restaurant pulled through w/ two pieces of chicken breast of a perfectly balanced flavor of egg, lemon butter, chicken broth, & parsley. It was paired wonderfully w/ angel hair pasta. Only complaint: no public restroom. Only suggestion: Italian sodas to compliment the cuisine!
We Were Visiting Poughkeepsie NY to see a Loved one at Vassar Hospital. We wanted Pasta and this was the restaurant we chose. Amazing Service! Couldn’t be happier with our Meals. Thank you for treating us so well and filling our tummies as we were away from home! It was so good! Chicken Penne Pasta was Amazing! Mediterranean Salad, Garlic Bread and Shrimp in Wine Garlic Sauce😋😋😋
Best Vodka sauce in TOWN!! The Chef is excellent and the service top notch. 10 out 10 would recomend to stop if you’re in Poughkeepsie!
Today I tasted the Chicken piccata, the flavor was more than amazing, all the pasta is well cook and with the best flavor I have tried in my life.
10/10 I recommend, Chef Carlos always treating everyone like family.
Traveling in the area and due to the positive reviews, visited Capperi. We were not disappointed. The place is very unassuming, outside, but do not let that stop you from eating here. Calamari, Caesar salad and chicken piccata were all excellent. Additionally the service was beyond exceptional and we never wanted for anything. The owner even took time to talk to us and wanted to ensure that all was up to our expectations. It was and beyond. If you are in the area, take the time to visit.
