I love coming to this place. I’ve been going here for years and the pastries are delicious. I always want all of them. I think price point is fair. The one complaint this place gets is the service, which in my experience has been overall ok, once in a while it gets spotty. I also love the corner location of this cafe, it’s very open and has a chill vibe. I recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth.
some cakes & pastries are delicious, some aren’t. i wish they have tags for each cake/pastries because it would be easier for everyone to just say what customer want instead of poiting their fingers. the woman owner isnt very friendly… overpriced too…
Desserts are great but the staff is really rude…talking while you wait to order like they are doing me a favor. $7 for tiramisu
The space here seems very clean and looks good, it’s bright and very well decorated. Very cute!
The cakes here are just “good enough”. It wasn’t life changing, but it wasn’t horrid. Got a cake type pastry and some rice pudding for about $18.
As others have said, there are no tags and no prices posted. It is overpriced for what you’re getting, and in comparison with other nearby spots that have much better quality in every aspect.
The service is bad, and I don’t think it’s because of a cultural barrier as other people have tried to excuse it as. I think it’s because they’re just rude. Nobody greeted us when we walked in, that’s no big deal- but when we actually started to deal with picking out what we wanted, the woman we dealt with just seemed annoyed. She wasn’t helpful, she wasn’t anything except trying to get back to gossiping with the two customers she clearly knew quite well.
I do not plan to visit again in the future.
I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience at this café. The staff member, who appeared to be the owner, exhibited shockingly rude and racist behavior, which completely ruined my afternoon. We had a box of leftover food from the restaurant across the street and came here just for some desserts. This seemed to trigger her unacceptable behavior.
From the moment we walked in, we were treated with blatant disrespect and were eventually asked to leave without any justifiable reason. This was my first ever experience of such racism. To make matters worse, she even came to the door to close it behind us as we left, adding to the humiliation.
The café itself is clean and nice, but the behavior we encountered was the complete opposite. As South Asians, we should report and avoid places like this to prevent further discriminatory behavior. Such behavior is unacceptable in any establishment, especially from the owner. I strongly urge others to avoid this place and instead support businesses that foster a welcoming and inclusive environment. If you encounter similar behavior, please report it to the relevant authorities. This kind of conduct should not be tolerated, and it’s important to hold businesses accountable for their actions.
