Came here on a Friday night with my friend to have dinner and a couple drinks, we sat at the bar and the food was delicious. The service was impeccable and the drinks were amazing, definitely my new fav place. We were served by the bartender David who prepared for us some of his special drinks, the espresso martini was the best I ever had in my entire life, Salvatore was the server who helped us through the entire night, both of them so nice and polite
Ordered delivery. Came late. Never ordering from this place again. The portions are a rip-off. It’s way over priced. There are much better options in Astoria for the cost. And better taste as well. Adding photos of how outrageous it was. A To-go bowl of pasta that cost $30 and our garlic bread that was $8. Both were a joke.
We live in the neighborhood and had been meaning to try this place and unfortunately were disappointed. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. He was from a different location just helping out for the night but was so nice.
However, they were out of prosciutto which my boyfriend really wanted, the pasta 100% was not homemade (which is fine but don’t advertise that), my sparkling rose was flat (as was my boyfriends aperol spritz), the chocolate cake was cold on the middle, and the restaurant smelled kind of gross I couldn’t put my finger on it.
The atmosphere was really nice other than the smell.
I’m very disappointed. I ordered my food for delivery after working a 12 hour shift. Hoping to relax with a refreshing drink and meal. I received what I would’ve expect to be dinner however I received a lunch portion of food and an half filled cup. For the amount I paid I expect atleast utensils and a straw. Really wish I read the reviews first.
We visited Botte Bar for dinner while we were in the area. It’s a cozy restaurant with a spacious bar and an incredibly friendly staff. The ambiance was unique, with music playing and a charming stack of old VHS movies available for patrons to play on a tiny tube TV at the bar. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Although our dinner took longer than expected to arrive, the staff’s excellent customer service shone through when they brought us two complimentary glasses of wine to apologize for the delay, even though we hadn’t mentioned it. This was the best meal I had in the area.
