It’s kind of famous in the neighborhood. But their food is not as good as I expected about authentic Mexican foods. Pretty much fusionized taste. Frozen margaritas are phenomenal. Just hit the spot!!
I took my husband there for his 65 birthday, and he loved it. I made reservations and was running late. I called, and they said it was ok to change the time when we got there. We were seated right away. The place is very clean and beautiful decorated. Our waitress, Deisy C, came to take our drink orders from what seemed like a dictionary of liquor they serve. we could not decide, but this young lady must be an alcoholist & is incredibly knowledgeable on the many different alcohol they serve she is friendly and super cool. Our drinks and food came on time it was delicious good temperature it was also salsa night. The band was fabulous. Tips get there at happy hour. Drinks are half price, but watch out $2.00 is charged for flavor. They don’t have a parking lot, but there is meter parking, so get there, find a spot, and sit it out till it’s free. People in wheelchairs have a choice of sitting outside or inside, which is good. Overall, if I lived in Queens, I would visit at least once a month, maybe twice a month.
100% recommend the nachos appetizer with your choice of meat/protein. It’s good for sharing between 4-5 people. Various alcoholic and virgen/virgin drinks. We ordered passion fruit, mango, and the raspberry bog (ginger juice is very strong but still good). Half Chicken Entree was amazing, big enough for 2 people to share if you’re NOT on an empty stomach.
I found the restaurant to be a very intriguing place, with carefully curated aesthetics that perfectly matched the restaurant’s theme. The addition of live music at one point added an extra layer of interest to the overall ambiance. The …
Laura! My favorite bartender 🙂 she makes a well balanced margarita. I haven’t had any food yet so I will updated my review once I do but she is a fantastic bartender and provides excellent customer service.
