This was recommended to us by a friend to come to during our visit to the area. We sat at the bar and had drinks while waiting for our table to be ready and the bartender was nice and the drinks were good that we ordered. After being sat we were quickly helped , the tomato and burrata salad was delicious. We also ordered the brussel sprouts and meatballs and they were delicious. I tried the scallops on the dinner specials list and it was very tasty as well. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing for dessert. Overall everything was excellent and we were very happy with this place and recommend it.
I went there to have dinner with my friends. Cozy ambiance, variety of drinks, welcome staffs. I ordered the salmon which is for me a little overcooked. I will return to try their fried chicken and dessert.
We had dinner on Saturday and it was so packed at 5 pm already. Inside the restaurant was not so spacious but still cozy and not so noisy. My husband and I had Fried chicken and Shrimp and grits, our friends Salmon and Fillet mignon from the specials. The food was all excellent! I would say my fried chicken could be the best of best in the area. The service was good too. The only reason I took one star out is the prices….l know it’s worth paying for but some seemed overpriced and this is the restaurant for just special occasions.
I ended up at this restaurant as a nearby Turkish place was closed due to snow in April. We were a party of 4 and got seated immediately even though we showed up without a reservation. This placed was packed on Thursday evening. The waitress was courteous and offered us some treats while we decided on our dinner. We got calamari and roasted cauliflower for the starters moving on to salmon, scallops and a vegetarian dish that the waitress suggested. Flavors were on the spot and cooked to perfection. Must visit if you are in Saratoga or Ballston Spa.
Next Door Kitchen highly recommended. It did not disappoint!! Even though we stopped in for drinks and shareables, we had a wonderful experience and the staff provided a friendily and relaxing environment. The bar is well stocked with higher end products. We enjoyed the Asti and bourbon along with a few appetizers. The special was asparagus with smoked trout with a delicious capers sauce. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts and crab fritters. Overall, the menu has many delicious entrees and appetizers. We plan to return next months for dinner with friends.
